As your MLA it is my goal to serve you and our community in the B.C. Legislature. We live in an outstanding region here in the Cowichan Valley and we have many issues and diverse interests, it is important to me to hear from you should you have a provincial concern. Please feel free to contact my office on any issues and I or my very competent staff will do our best to help you.

The valley is remembering a former union leader, logger and forestry politician who passed away in late December. 

 Roger Stanyer was the president of the local IWA 1-80 in the 1970s. It’s a union Cowichan Valley MLA Bill Routley was a part of and later took over as president when Stanyer went to work for the union at the national level.
